The scenery from above was just breathtaking. The African plains were spread far and wide as far as the
eye could see. This is the motherland, the place where humans first evolved; it was a great feeling to be
able to be there. From the balloon, we spotted more wild animals. There were hippos that were soaking
themselves in the lake, zebras and giraffes grazing just below us and a herd of impalas doing the same
thing in the distance.
The big night. There’s nothing quite like being in the middle of the desert surrounded by football fans, watching
the biggest game of the season.
And the Champions of Europe are… MANCHESTER UNITED! I was jumping around like a madman and
hugging the other MU fans around the camp. It was a great feeling to share that moment of victory with them.
